Clean Streets Initiative Announced
On Saturday, April 28, 2007, at 8:30 AM, East Boston Main
Streets will kick off the East Boston Clean Streets Initiative.
Volunteers will meet at the corner of Chelsea and Maverick Streets and
participate in the Boston Shines Clean-Up effort.

— The East Boston Main Streets Clean Up on Saturday,
April 28, 2007, at 8:30 AM, is the kick off event for a comprehensive,
ongoing anti-litter campaign called the East Boston Clean Streets
Initiative. In collaboration with the Jeffries Point Neighborhood
Association and the East Boston Chamber of Commerce, the East Boston
Clean Streets Initiative will enlist teachers and students from local
elementary and middle schools to participate in an anti-litter
promotional campaign. Speakers will educate residents and businesses
on how they can participate in this effort. Volunteers and youth from
the Boston Youth Fund will work during the summer to continue the
education and clean up effort. For more information or if you would
