East Boston Calendar to benefit Mario Umana Academy and EBMS
East Boston, old and new, is showcased in a calendar for 2012.

East Boston, MA, 10-Nov-2011 — Local Artist Leigh Hall has captured the old and new of East Boston in the 2012 Calendar for East Boston Main Streets.

With the cooperation of the Boston Public Library, Leigh has taken historic photos of East Boston and merged them with new images of how Eastie is today. Some of these dramatic transformations that have occurred over the years unfold in the pages of the 2012 calendar and are amazing.

East Boston Main Streets has designed this calendar as a fundraiser for the Mario Umana Academy and East Boston Main Streets. 50% of the proceeds will go directly to the school.

With help from graphic designer Todd Antonellis who pulled it all together, local talent has come together with EBMS to create something very special for East Boston. The spiral bound calendar is $10.00 and has 50 coupons, all from local businesses, saving buyers hundreds of dollars on food, gifts, shoes, clothing and jewelry. There are even freebies!
